MyBalancedMacros is a nutrition tracking application that uses artificial intelligence to analyze food photos and estimate nutritional content. The app provides:
- AI-powered food photo analysis for calorie and macro estimation
- Daily nutrition tracking and goal setting
- Meal history and calendar view
- Recipe search and meal planning
- Personalized nutrition recommendations
- Barcode scanning for packaged foods
3. Account Registration
To use MyBalancedMacros, you must create an account using Apple Sign-In or Google Sign-In. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the security of your account credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access
4. Subscription and Payment
Free Tier
The free tier includes basic nutrition tracking, daily goals, and meal history.
Premium Subscription
Premium features are available through auto-renewing subscriptions:
- Weekly: $1.99 per week
- Monthly: $4.99 per month
Premium includes AI food scanning, recipe search, meal plans, personalized goals, and all future features.
Payment Terms
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
- You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your device's account settings
- No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods
5. Nutritional Information Disclaimer
Important: MyBalancedMacros provides estimated nutritional information using AI technology. These estimates are not guaranteed to be accurate and should not be used as:
- Medical or dietary advice
- A substitute for professional nutritional counseling
- An exact measurement of food content
- A basis for managing medical conditions like diabetes
Always consult a healthcare professional or registered dietitian for specific dietary needs. AI estimates may vary from actual nutritional values.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the app for any unlawful purpose
- Upload inappropriate, offensive, or non-food images
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or hack the app
- Interfere with the app's infrastructure or other users' experience
- Create multiple accounts or share account access
- Use automated systems to access the app (bots, scrapers, etc.)
7. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of MyBalancedMacros are owned by us and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.
8. User Content
You retain ownership of photos and data you submit to the app. By using the app, you grant us a limited license to process your photos and data solely for the purpose of providing our services (nutritional analysis, tracking, etc.).
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- MyBalancedMacros is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the past 12 months
- We are not responsible for health outcomes based on the app's nutritional estimates
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through the app settings. Upon termination, your right to use the app ceases immediately.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes through the app or via email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law.
